Old software. Tools that don’t talk to each other. Workarounds that became permanent fixtures. We heard it from laboratory professionals across the fuels, energy, and specialty chemical industries — and decided to do something about it.
Sabine Industrial was founded by people who understood firsthand what bad software costs a quality operation. Not just in dollars, but in hours, workarounds, and missed signals.
Our first product was FuelSQC, a statistical quality control tool we built because nothing affordable and purpose-built existed for the laboratories we were working with. It taught us more about the real world of the industrial lab than anything else could have. How people actually work. Where systems break down. What the difference is between software that gets adopted and software that sits on the shelf.
That product became InsightSQC. ASTM International partnered with us to bring it to market, and in October 2025, acquired it. We continue to support it today.
The point is a lab that runs smoothly. Results your team trusts. Compliance you can demonstrate without scrambling. Fewer workarounds. More moments where everything just works the way it’s supposed to.
We build software because it’s the best tool we have for getting there. But what we’re actually selling is the expertise that comes with it — years of supporting industrial laboratory operations, learning the regulatory nuance, understanding the difference between a system that gets configured correctly and one that gets configured quickly.
That expertise is in the products. It’s in the implementation. It’s in the support calls. It’s in every design decision we made when we could have taken the easier path and didn’t.
Sabine Industrial built what is now InsightSQC originally under the name FuelSQC. ASTM International recognized its quality, partnered with us to bring it to market as InsightSQC, and in October 2025, acquired it.
Today, we continue to work hand in hand with ASTM to support existing customers and develop what comes next. It’s a partnership built on a shared commitment to quality and to the industries that depend on it.
FuelSQC — the product that became InsightSQC — was built to be affordable: rigorous quality control that labs could actually justify. We’ve carried that same principle into every product we make. The price is right from the start, and the return shows up in three places.
What you configure is included. Your system evolves with your operation without a new invoice every time it does.
Implementation and day-to-day operation don’t demand a team of business analysts or IT staff. Your people run it themselves.
Better quality control means fewer product quality events — and that shows up directly in your organization’s results.
Every laboratory we work with has the same underlying goal — to produce results that are accurate, defensible, and delivered without unnecessary friction. We share that goal.
It’s why we build the way we build, implement the way we implement, and stay involved the way we do.
Let’s talk about what your operation actually needs, and whether we’re the right people to help build it.
